1 |
Arrive
in Delhi, transfer to hotel by coach or cars. Overnight
at hotel in Delhi. |
| DAY
2 |
Delhi Pathankot.
Morning Sightseeing of important places in Delhi i.e.
Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Lotus Temple and Qutab Minar. Evening
Transfer to railway station to take the train for Pathankot.
Overnight on the train. |
| DAY 3 |
Pathankot - Dharamsala.
Arrive Pathankot in the morning. Transfer from Pathankot
to Dharamsala. Check in to the hotel at Dharamsala.
Dinner (Guthuk celebration). This day every male must
have bath. In the evening the family members gather
around to have Guthuk with nine items cooked. They perform
a prayer to drive out the bad omens out of your home
& diseases out from your body. |

DHARAMSALA
McleodGanj is the permanent residence of His Holiness
the Dalai Lama and many Tibetans are settled here as
well. During the Tibetan New Year, there are lots of
activities going on for many days and the main celebration
is on first 3 days of Tibetan New Year (6 Feb to 8 Feb).
We therefore have kept 5 total days in Dharamsala, in
our programme to see the New Year festival.

| DAY 4 |
Go around Photang
and Monasteries. On last day of the year, all the women
must have bath. Local people will be busy with shopping
& decorating their home throughout the day. They
sleep very late. Dinner and overnight at hotel. |
| DAY 5 |
1st day of the year.
Every one gets up early morning and wish each other
Saying "TASHI DELEK" then have hot Chang and
go back to sleep again. During day, every one goes to
the temples, monasteries and to the prayer ceremony
at Namgyal monastery. |
| DAY 6 |
On this day people
visit their near and dear ones. They come out on the
street & play Tibetan music etc. and audience with
His Holiness The Dalai Lama, generally in the morning. |
| DAY 7 |
Last day of the
festival. Early morning, we have prayer flag ceremony
at Lingkhor. Every Tibetan in Dharamsala gathers there.
On this day, many programmes are held. Every one is
busy in singing, dancing and drinking Chang and other
alcoholic items. |
| DAY
8 |
We leave for Tsopema
in the morning and arrive in the afternoon. In the evening,
you could walk around the lake. |

TSOPEMA
Nestled in a saucer-like amphitheater and laced on all
sides by the scantily-wooded and rugged mountain ranges
of the Shivaliks, the natural lake at Tsopema is one
of the Major Buddhist land of energy.
The seven islands, with a thick
cover of foliage-grass and trees over them, float on
the lake. Buddhists and non Buddhists revere these islands
as deities and make offerings of flags and white scarves
(KHATAK) to them. The people believe these islands to
be the abode of Seven Buddhist deities.
In the sacred memory of Guru Padmasambawa,
an imposing monastery, built in multi-tiers, with sweeping
roofs of fine blue slate over it, stands edging on the
lake. Visit the holy lake and the monasteries of Tsopema.
Overnight at Tsopema.

| DAY 9 |
Visit the holy lake
and monastery and some holy spots of Guru Rinpoche at
Tsopema. Pray and take Kora (circumambulating) of Gompas
and the lake too. We stay at Tsopema overnight. |
| DAY 10 |
Tsopema to Delhi,
we drive early in the morning and arrive Delhi in the
evening. Overnight in Delhi. |

11 |
Transfer to Delhis
Domestic airport to board Flight to Bombay. Arrive Bombay.Transfer
from airport to Kashid Beach resort. |

BOMBAY
During the British Period, the Gateway of India, built
to commemorate the Prince of Wales visit in 1911, was
the point of disembarkation.

THE
KASHID BEACH
This beach is 139 km south of Bombay and virtually undiscovered,
Kashid has an excellent, unspoiled, 3 km silver sand
beach near the town of Alibag, but it may not remain
quiet for long as it is becoming popular with hikers
and water-sports enthusiasts.

Cost includes:
All transfers and sightseeing by A.C. coach or car in Delhi, hotel accommodation
in Delhi (A.C on full board, Three star hotel). All hotels in Sikkim
are on full board, The transportation in Sikkim will be non A.C. coach
or cars, domestic air fare (Bagdogra - Delhi ) is also included in the
tour cost, train from Delhi to NJP will be A.C. 2 Tier Class.
Cost does not include:
Items of personal nature, laundry, alcohol, mineral water, beverages,
medical and health insurance, airport tax, personal phone calls. Guide
and entrance fees wherever applicable

Payment Terms and Conditions
:
On confirmation of tour 50% of the total amount must be transferred
to Sumico Travels, account no. 54405005663, Standard Chartered Bank
Ltd, New Friends Colony, 20 Community center, New Delhi 110 065. Balance
50% is to be given at the time of arrival in India.
Cancellation:
30 days before the tour date, 10% of quotation would be charged as communicat
ion
charges. Thereafter, 35% of quotation would be charged. Cancellation
before 15 days from the tour due date would be on a no refund of advance
basis .
Note:
Sumico Travels shall not be held responsible for any natural calamities
due to which difficulties & disturbance occur in the actual program
directly or indirectly. In such a situation, Sumico Travels reserves
the right to make changes in the program at any time with a simple notification.

Environmental

are cleaned up, we do not engage in activities that interfere with the
